Key insight
Regional scripts needed their own type scale and line lengths. Tuning typography per language lifted time on page more than any feature.

The outcome
The site held up through the launch-day traffic spike with no downtime.
We load-tested for ten times the traffic we expected. On launch day we needed about four of those.
